Welcome to the beautiful Candidasa—an old temple on a lagoon by the edge of the sea about 15 east of Klungkung on the Denpasar-Amlapura road. It is said that the temple was built by King Sri Aji Jayapangus Arkajalancana in the 12th century. The inhabitants around the temple, the Tenganan Pegeringsingan as well as their cultural living for instances: the ritual battle dance, Rejang dance, the traditional weaving, etc. are still preserved until nowadays.
